Done is better than perfect

This is a quote I heard from another coach, she always says "done is better than perfect". Now what does that mean, it means stop spending so much time on perfection and just get it done.

That book you've been thinking about writing, just write it. That job you've been interested in, apply for it. That business you have been wanting to start, START IT!

Basically, what i'm saying is, time waits for no one and life is short. Stop trying to seek perfection and get it done.

This is a lesson I learned when my father passed in 2018. He was only 68 years old and he constantly say to me in his last few months "Tally boo, I have so many things I wanted to do and now I wont get to do it". In case you're wondering my first name is Talya and he's always called me Tally Boo and I've always hated it so don't try it!

I decided then to live out my dream of becoming a full time entrepreneur, I put a plan in place, started working the plan, tweaked along the way, and made it happen.
